Terms & Conditions

1. General

1.1 All sales and deliveries executed over Corum’s E-Boutique www.shop.corum.ch (hereinafter the “E-Boutique”) are governed by the present general terms and conditions as amended from time to time without notice. Other terms and conditions contradicting the present clauses are not applying to the relationship between Corum and the customer. The customer accepts these terms and conditions by using the webpage of the E-Boutique. The customer is enabled to download and print the present terms and conditions through www.shop.corum.ch.

1.2 Working days means all days of the week except Saturdays, Sundays and official holiday days in the canton of Neuchâtel/Switzerland.

1.3 The term „consumer“ refers to physical persons ordering goods for purposes other than professional or commercial purposes.

2. Orders, description, order confirmation and use of data

2.1 The products shown on Corum’s E-Boutique are for personal and non-commercial and non-professional use only. Orders can be made by customers being aged 18 years or older. The product presentation and description is a non-binding invitation to order the products and cannot be considered as a binding offer by Corum.

2.2 Corum does its very best to be accurate when showing colors, product descriptions, product images, pricing, promotions, availability, materials and any other information or content in the E-Boutique. However, Corum cannot guarantee that namely the colors and general product impression displayed on customer’s device are accurate or true.

2.3 The orders by the customer are confirmed automatically through e-mail sent to customer’s e-mail address and can be saved and printed out. The confirmation contains all relevant data of the purchase order. Corum reserves the right to cancel or reduce the quantity of customer’s order, without notice and at its sole discretion. Only quantities actually shipped to customer will be charged to customer.

2.4 The data the customer is submitting is stored by Corum. Due to data protection provisions, the customer does not have direct access to his/her data unless registered as registered customer. Registered customers have access to their personal data and have the possibility to follow the status of their past or pending orders. Registered customers also have the possibility to change the data and to subscribe to or to unsubscribe from the newsletter. 

2.5 Corum keeps the customer’s personal data and access codes strictly confidential. By submitting data to Corum, customers entitles Corum to use his/her data in order for Corum to handle the orders with its partners and for Corum’s marketing purposes only (se also Data Protection Policy ).

3. Access and use of the E-Boutique

3.1 The customer in the E-Boutique is responsible for providing his/her personal data truly and comprehensively if requested to do so. The customer shall keep his/her access codes confidential and is solely responsible to grant no unauthorized third party access to it. The orders with the customer’s personal data are binding upon customer.

3.2 Corum is not obliged to (i) accept, or register customers or (ii) to grant access to its E-Boutique.

3.3 Corum is further not obliged to have a permanent availability of its products, even if they are marked as available in the E-Boutique.

3.4 Corum makes its best efforts to keep the E-Boutique continuously accessible and the displayed products available. However and namely due to maintenance works, the E-Boutique might be temporarily unavailable. Corum can further not grant the consistency of the data and is under no circumstances responsible for any data loss whatsoever.

4. Binding orders

4.1 By clicking the button "confirm", the customer gives a binding order to Corum regarding the goods in his/her shopping basket/cart. The confirmation of the order with payment details is sent to customer’s registered e-mail address.

4.2 Corum is bound by the order upon dispatch of the ordered goods only. 

4.3 Corum dispatches the goods after receipt of full payment of the purchase price only. If the payment is not received within 10 days after the date of the order, Corum is free not to deliver and is not bound by the order in any way.

5. Prices

5.1 The prices for orders and deliveries through the E-Boutique are set forth in the E-Boutique at the time of the order.


5.2 The prices are in Swiss francs (CHF). Foreign currency is converted with the official conversion rate at the day of execution of the payment.

5.3 The prices are final prices including cost of delivery, insurance, value-added-tax (VAT) and custom duties, if any.

6. Payment

6.1 The customer can pay his/her order through credit card or bank transfer. Corum however explicitly reserves its right not to accept certain payments or certain credit cards and to offer other means of payment.

6.2 In case of payment through credit card, the credit card account is charged at the time of the confirmation of the order with the respective amount. 

6.3. The costs for the use of the credit card or for the bank transfer are at the sole expense of the customer.

7. Delivery, delivery times and partners

7.1 Goods immediately available are delivered within maximum 10 working days after receipt of full payment. Should the delivery suffer some delay, Corum informs the customer in due time. In certain countries, Corum delivers through its local partners and delivery times might be extended. The latter also applies in certain countries due to specific custom-clearance modalities.

7.2 Delivery time is extend accordingly, should the delivery be affected by acts of God, such as strikes, confiscation through authorities, shortage in components, fire, water, damage of machinery, riots or war. Should the delivery be delayed for more than 60 days, the customer is entitled to withdraw from the contract. He/She is however not entitled to any further compensation and/or damages.

7.3 Corum delivers the goods through its certified carrier. Delivery is made EXW, La Chaux-de-Fonds, Switzerland (ex works, Incoterms 2010). Risk for destruction or deterioration of the goods passes to consumers when shipped, to consumers domiciled in the European Union at the time of delivery to consumer or to a person representing him/her.

7.4 Should the ordered goods not be available, the advance payment corresponding to the purchase price paid for the products ordered through the E-Boutique is fully refunded by Corum, excluding however bank or credit card fees.

8. Inspection and Warranty 

8.1 Customer shall inform Corum within 10 days after receipt of the goods about any defects in quality or quantity and shall return the defective goods describing the defects in detail and with its warranty card, invoice and complete original packaging to the following address using DHL, UPS or FedEx carrier:

8.2 The warranty conditions of Corum according to the warranty card further apply .

9. Right of return

9.1 Consumers have the right to return the goods within 14 days after receipt using the “return-of-goods-form ”. Consumer complies with the deadline when sending an e-mail to the support-address . A Corum representative will contact you in order to provide you with an authorization number to enable the return.

9.2 The costs for returning the goods are to be paid by consumer. The goods can be returned only with the „return-of-goods-form“, the original certificate of warranty, original invoice and shipping documents and the original packaging using DHL, UPS or FedEx carrier and insurance. The goods have to be in perfect condition, not having been used for other purposes than for fitting, similar to fitting in a jewelry store. The goods have to be returned to the following address:

9.3 Corum reserves the right not to take back the goods if they show signs of wear, are scratched or otherwise damaged or if the documentation is incomplete. Corum is entitled to return the goods to the consumer at consumer’s costs. Corum refunds the purchase price to consumer in due time and the same way the purchase price was paid, should the return of goods be accepted by Corum.

9.4 Personalized products are sold as final sale and cannot be returned, exchanged and no refund is possible. The same applies to bracelets that have been adjusted.

10. Intellectual property, licence and links

10.1 All logos, texts, layouts, designs, names, trademarks and products shown in the E-Boutique (hereinafter “Intellectual Property”) are the sole property of Corum. Others may not use the Intellectual Property. Nothing contained on the webpage should be construed as granting, by implication, estoppel, or otherwise, any license, transfer of ownership or right to use any Intellectual Property.

10.2 Corum grants customer a limited, revocable, non-sublicensable and non-transferable license to use the E-Boutique only for your personal, non-commercial use for purchasing the products. Customer or any third party are not allowed to copy, reproduce, distribute, publish, enter into a database, display, perform, modify, create derivative works from, transfer, sell or in any way exploit the contents of the E-Boutique.

10.3 Customer or any third party is only entitled to link from any other website to the E-Boutique if such link opens entirely in a new browser window or tab and displays the full version of the E-Boutique. Customer or any third party is not entitled to link from any other web site to the E-Boutique combining any third party content (frames, banners, surroundings, brandings, etc.).

11. Disclaimer

11.1 The content of the E-Boutique as well as the services, products and functions related thereto are provided “as is”, without any warranty of whatever nature, express or implied. 

11.2 Corum does explicitly not make any warranty regarding namely but without limitation availability, accuracy, fitness for a specific purpose, non-infringement, title and merchantability of the content of the E-Boutique as well as the services, products and functions related thereto.

11.3 In no event Corum, its partners, affiliates, officers and directors shall be liable for any direct, indirect, consequential or any other damage or loss arising out of or in relation to the use or inability to use the E-Boutique as well as the services, products and functions related thereto.

12. Applicable Law and Venue

12.1 The contract between the customer and Corum shall be governed exclusively by the substantive laws of Switzerland excluding the provisions of international private law (to the exception of Art. 116 PILA, which allows such an express choice of law) and the United Nation convention on contracts for the international sale of goods CISG.

12.2 Exclusive place of jurisdiction shall be the competent courts at Corum’s office (La Chaux-de-Fonds, Switzerland). Corum only shall additionally have the right to prosecute customer at his/her domicile or any other ordinary place of jurisdiction.
